Elearning Opportunities
High school credits are being offered to Kawartha Pine Ridge students by our innovative certified teachers through the E-learning Ontario Learning Management System. Selected courses offerings are available to students across the jurisdiction to meet their individual learning needs in a range or academic disciplines. Please see your guidance department for to facilitate registration in these courses.
The Ministry of Education has authorized e-Learning as a recognized instructional method and has developed a provincial initiative making use of this method to support the Success to 18 Strategy. School boards are making use of the courses and infastructure provided by E-Learning Ontario to facilitate course delivery.Kawartha Pine Ridge course offerings for Semester 1 2009-2010 are as follows:

Kawartha Pine Ridge is opening e-learning opportunities to students in order to provide greater flexibility in course offerings and programs. E-learning meets the needs of students who are unable to take a course because it is full or is not offered at their home school. The program also provides options for students who may not be able to attend day school classes or who may have different learning styles and needs.
