2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR DATES

Next year's school year calendar is now available, after consultation with parents, school councils and other stakeholders. The calendar reflects their input as well as Ministry of Education guidelines. The dates for 2008-09 include:

Christmas Break – December 22-January 2
March Break – March 16-20
PA Days – September 26, October 27, December 5, January 30, April 24, June 26

**In a change from previous years, the Friday before March Break will not be a holiday. Friday, March 13 will be a school day, to make up for the addition of the provincial Family Day holiday on February 16. 

Secondary exams will be held January 22-28 and June 18-24.
