Job Postings - Occasional Teaching
When recruiting for the occasional teaching lists is required, we advertise on applytoeducation.ca. Registered candidates should then apply directly to the posting if they meet the criteria specified in the advertisement. There are no plans at this time for occasional teacher interviews.
Please ensure you outline in your covering letter your availability and the geographical areas you are willing to work. If you are moving, note which area of the Board you wil be residing and when.
You must be a certified teacher in Ontario to work as an occasional teacher.
On the rare occasions a certified teacher is not available for a position we would invite applications from non-certified applicants. These jobs would be on applytoeducation.ca as well and you would apply at that time.
A police records check (including a vulnerable sector search), valid within six months from the date of hire, is a condition of employment with our Board. Please note that there have been reports that it may take up to 6 weeks to process police records checks in some jurisdictions. With that in mind, we strongly suggest that candidates obtain a police screening as soon as possible.
No paper resumes are accepted at the Board Office or at any of our school locations.
Thank you for your interest in KPR and good luck with your job search.
