Areas of Emphasis

The Areas of Emphasis 2007-2011 for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board were developed following a joint community/parent/school council and employee consultation exercise which took place throughout the 2006-2007 school year.

In August 2007, the Board endorsed three new central goals for the next four years.

Framed within the context of "Success for All Students", the three broad directives are:  Improved Student Achievement and Personal Development supported by Quality and Accountability.

According to Board Policy No. B-3.1, Strategic Planning and the Areas of Emphasis, interim reviews and updates are conducted.
