2008-09 School Year Calendar

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board recently approved the school year calendar for 2008-09. Last year, the Board consulted with parents, school councils and other stakeholders, and the calendar reflects their input as well as Ministry of Education guidelines. The dates for 2008-09 include:

Christmas Break – December 22-January 2
**March Break – March 16-20
PA Days – September 26, October 27, December 5, January 30, April 24, June 26

 

**In a change from previous years, the Friday before March Break will not be a holiday. Friday, March 13 will be a school day, to make up for the addition of the provincial Family Day holiday on February 16. In addition, secondary exams will be held January 22-28 and June 18-24.
